Everything a board can show

Every tile you can put on a board, what each one is for, and which plan has it.

6 minute read · Updated

What can a TV information board show? The wifi and a code to join it, the time and the weather, a countdown, notices, a menu or the day's schedule, the photos and messages guests send from their phones, a poll they vote on, your team's calendar and more: 23 widgets, each a tile you place and size on the board from your phone.

They are listed here as the picker lists them, under its headings, each with what it is for, which plan has it, and the guide where it is shown at its best. Every one of them works on a wide TV and on a screen turned on its side.

A board worth copying

A few of them together, playing as they would on a TV: "A bit of everything", the board the setup guide walks through tile by tile.

Questions

Which widgets are free?

16 of the 23 are on the free plan. Photos, Poll, Find your seat, Celebrations, Calendar, Headlines, Slides and Numbers from a Google Sheet are part of Pro and the Event Pass.

Can a board carry the same widget twice?

Yes. Two clocks for two time zones, a second notice, a drinks menu beside the food: any widget can go on a board as often as there is room for it.

How big can a widget be?

Anything from one cell to the whole board. Each one arranges itself for the room it has: a wide tile puts things side by side, a tall one stacks them, and a strip one row tall says it in a line.

Try it on the TV you already have
