One person reads hello@plazascreen.com and answers it. If something's broken or you're in a hurry, that's the fastest route — everything below is just the answers we give most often.
PlazaScreen is a product of HoangCore LLC, and a payment to us is one of two things: Pro at $9 a month, or a one-time Event Pass at $6. Both are taken by Stripe, and we never see or store your card number.
Sign in and the billing page lists every charge we've made, with its date. If it still doesn't look right — or you don't recognize the account at all — email hello@plazascreen.com with the date and the last four digits of the card. We'll find it and sort it out. You don't need an account to ask, and you'll get a person rather than a form.
Pro. Open the billing page and press Cancel Pro. One button takes you to Stripe, where you confirm it. There's no fee, no minimum term, and nothing to email us about. Pro keeps working to the end of the month you've already paid for.
Nothing is deleted when you cancel. Boards beyond the Free allowance are paused rather than removed, with their layout, widgets, messages and photos kept exactly as they were. Turn Pro back on and it all comes back as it was.
Event Pass. A single charge covering 7 days. It isn't a subscription, it doesn't renew, and there's nothing to cancel.
We don't automatically refund part-months, because you had the service for that time. That said, if something went wrong on our end — the service was broken when you needed it, or you were charged for something you didn't get — email billing@plazascreen.com and we'll sort it out. We'd rather refund someone than argue with them. The exact wording is in the terms.
You can close it yourself from the billing page, and export everything on it first. Closing suspends it immediately: boards go dark and paired TVs go back to a pairing code. Everything is permanently deleted 30 days later, and until then one tap brings it back.
The guides cover the setups people ask about most: putting a board on a TV for the first time, a board for one evening, and a welcome screen for a vacation rental. If your TV shows the board but it doesn't fit the screen, the calibration tool on the board's settings page fixes that in about a minute.
