What to put on a TV information board depends on the room: the wifi and the time almost always, then a countdown and your guests' photos for a party, a welcome and the house notes for a stay, the calendar and the notices for an office. Each layout here is a starting board for one of those rooms, and the guide for that room goes further.
A blank grid is a bad way to start. So a new board arrives with something already on it, and you pick which something. All of these are only a starting point — every tile can be moved, resized or removed the moment the board exists, and nothing here is locked to the layout you chose.
Each one is drawn twice: once for a widescreen TV and once for a screen turned on its side, because a tall board is read top to bottom and wants its own arrangement rather than a squeezed version of a wide one.
The Photos, Calendar and Headlines widgets are part of Pro and the Event Pass. Where a layout below uses one, a free board gets a free widget in the same place instead (Image for Photos, Schedule for Calendar and Announcement for Headlines), so the board still looks finished rather than having a hole in it.
Every one of them plays below on a real board, with its own example words. Pick one to watch it, turn it on its side, or see what the free plan gets of it.

Why the wifi is usually first
Seven of the thirteen put the wifi in the top row of a wide board, and that is not an accident. It is the question every guest asks, the one that interrupts whoever is hosting, and the only one a screen answers better than a person. Everything else on a board is a nice-to-have; the wifi is the reason somebody looks at it at all.
It also has the QR code, which is the part people do not expect. A guest points a camera at the TV and their phone joins the network — no typing a password across a room, no spelling out which characters are capitals.
Changing your mind
Nothing is fixed. Open the board, drag a tile somewhere else, add one from the picker, take one off. A layout is how the board starts, not what it is — and the board you end up with after ten minutes of moving things around is the one that fits your room.
If you want the walkthrough for getting it onto the screen in the first place, the setup guide covers that end of it.
